"Very dated motel. Stayed here for the nostalgia, as I grew up going to HoJo's around the US. Check in was ok, but no one there to check out. Stairs to the room were rusty with peeling paint. Crumbling sidewalks. Felt unsafe. Shower curtain had that foul, sour smell--needs to be soaked in bleach or disinfectant. A real turn off. Beds seemed clean and we're comfy. Breakfast was surprisingly good--hard-boiled eggs, oatmeal, cereal, breakfast bars, muffins, juices, coffee, and best of all,...

"Our stay was great. Everything was comfortable and for the most part clean… but our bathroom wreaked of urine as soon as we got in to the room and the smell never left. When I looked around the toilet, there was pee all over, I think the seal is bad on the toilet. I ended up spraying around the bottom with hand sanitizer and lining it with towels. It still smelled terrible. Other than that, great hotel! Easy check-in and out. No other complaints."

Only problems was dirt porches with webs and bugs even beach view my daughter stay in had same problems. Noise of putting sliding up first thing in the morning. It was a nice hotel."
