"Stand in a Dutch home was a wonderful experience. If you are an overweight American walking up the stairs with your luggage is going to be a major struggle if you stay at this place, make sure you bring small bags for luggage and again if you are afraid of heights or you are a large person, I would not recommend it"

"Rooftop bar was great and had great views of Amsterdam. We had three days of over 30 weather and this hotel has no air conditioning. We did have a fan but honestly it was hot in my room my whole stay. Location was awesome as well .. close to great restaurants and an important transportation hub close by."

"We stayed 9 nights at BOB W Oosterpark in May 2025 and had a lovely experience. The hotel is very modern inside, the beds are comfortable, there is a shared kitchen with all necessities for longer stay. The water pressure in the showers is excellent. Hotel is very clean and spacious, and location is close to trams, great restaurants and shopping. The area is very walkable and local bakeries have incredible selection of sweets and great coffee. "First, the staff were amazing, so welcoming and efficient. One thing I did notice is the bartender in the Oriole restaurant didn’t have a swamper to help restock glasses and fill up ice. She was very busy but still gracious."

"Hotel Arena is such a beautiful mix of old and new, the building has so much character, but everything feels modern and comfortable. The location next to Oosterpark is peaceful, and it’s still easy to get to the city center. The staff were super friendly, and the restaurant was a great surprise. I’d definitely stay here again."
