"Staff were wonderful, and I have no complaints there. However, the hotel feels very outdated for the price. Additionally, the pool was closed and this was not mentioned at the time of booking. The “hills view” upgrade was definitely not worth it. The window was very dirty, or there may have been a film on the glass that made the view look blurry. There also was not much of a hills view to begin with, especially for the price. The TV was also outdated with no option to stream, which felt disappointing given the cost of the stay."

"Great location & staff. Very clean. Nice pool. However many rooms don’t have any natural light as the hotel is next to a hill so the window is basically next to a giant wall. This is not disclosed in the room description although quite a big deal if you stay more than one night (it gets very gloomy to be in the dark all day long in Los Angeles)… The wifi is finicky and you have to type in the password every time you get disconnected. Not ideal to work. Lastly the soundproofing isn’t great. All in all overpriced for what it is. "
