"This is a very basic “motel” type of property. Our room overlooked the parking lot with our window directly in front of a parked car We asked to be moved and got a room on the back side facing some greenery but had a passageway for staff hauling noisy laundry carts right outside the window. Hallway rugs are tired and worn. Atmosphere was institutional and soulless. Location is off a round about in the middle of nowhere with poor signage to find the property. "We stayed at Whitley Coach House to spend a few days in the area before attending a wedding in Frome. Tim and Ginny’s communication was excellent, and they were even kind enough to provide a travel cot last minute as we had ordered one ourselves that we didn’t think would come in time (although it did in the end). The coach house itself was spacious enough for the three of us, with everything one might need for a few days away. "

"The grounds of the house is beautiful. We wondered around and even walked through the cornfield. The staff was Excellent and went out of their way for anything we needed. My college student son even took his final online exam in the Library which is over 200 years old and the staff gave him a pitcher of water, cookies and a Good Luck note. Best kept secret in the areas."

"Food great and great value - inc Breakfast and Dinner. But would have liked some lighter option alternatives - fruit or sea bass or salmon or omelette salad - due to advanced age!! Sorry! I had dined at Mr. White’s new Balham Restaurant back in the day! Room and Shower Room lovely and spacious. Parking easy. Bed and sleep good. Might have appreciated a bit of help with case given age! Staff really friendly and helpful. Decor and collection display of artifacts amazing and just my style!! ...
