"Lovely hotel in a great position in Alfama, can get to most places on foot if you can handle the hills/steps. Staff were really friendly and helpful particularly Carol on breakfast duty and Cape and Sara on front desk. Gym and spa area are a bit limited but with all of the walking the gym wasn’t really necessary. "Our room was lovely with a beautiful view and we had an easy check-in. The only negatives were the hotel was described as having a roof top and showed pictures of it but it’s only for one specific guest room. We also were not able to enjoy the breakfast as it didn’t start until 8am (on a Monday) and we had to leave by 7:30 to catch a train. It’s at the top of a steep street so be aware of it. Certainly a nice place for the night."
