Reda was the most welcoming host, who gave us so many tips, advice and local knowledge as well as making us laugh each day. "Riad Karmela – A place that truly looks after you I stayed at Riad Karmela during my time in Marrakech and couldn’t have chosen a better base. From arrival to departure, I felt genuinely cared for — not as a booking, but as a person. The staff are exceptional: warm, attentive, and quietly present without ever being intrusive. I travelled solo and felt safe, relaxed, and supported at all times. A special mention must go to Fatima, the manager. She is outstanding. She upgraded my room without me asking, regularly checked in on me, offered coffee with genuine kindness, and made sure every detail of my stay ran smoothly. Her professionalism and warmth set the tone for the entire riad. Airport transfers were seamless, and both the driver and the young staff member who assisted me were respectful, reliable, and caring. It says a lot about a place when every member of the team carries themselves with pride. The riad itself is beautiful, peaceful, and perfectly located. After the energy of the Medina, returning here felt like exhaling. Riad Karmela isn’t just somewhere you stay — it’s somewhere you’re looked after. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Marrakech, especially solo travellers. I will definitely return."

"Clean room, friendly staff. Breakfast was tasty. I booked the hammam/massage there and i really enjoyed it. The staff were very friendly and willing to help. The location was perfect, only 15 mins walk away from Jemaa El Fenaa. Overall i would book this riad again. "

"Riad Houdou is an excellent Riad to stay in if you want to experience the Medina first hand. The staff is excellent and the food is great. They are in walking distance to many of what you are looking to visit within the Medina (shopping, restaurants, etc...). The only knock is that everything is cash based, which they let you know up hand, but just make sure you plan accordingly. Even with this, I would still recommend staying here. Enjoy Marrakech (the Red City)."

"We had the best stay at Riad les dunes. Firstly I would advise booking the airport pick up through them (€20) as when you get to the medina it is quite daunting trying to find your way through the streets of Marrakesh (which you can’t drive down) we got picked up no problem and were escorted to the Riad by members of the team. The room was lovely, small (as all Riads would be) but the perfect size for the 2 of us, was cleaned every day and had all the amenities we needed. The Riad itself is beautiful, the roof top is lovely and the food is so so good! It’s in good walking distance to the main square (20 mins) and if you need taxis anywhere or have booked any trips, the entrance to get picked up is a 7 minute walk away. The thing that really makes this Riad the best place to stay is the staff! They could not do enough for us. They told us good recommendations for restaurants, tours, places to visit, and just anything we would ask and more! We only have 2 names (Ayoub & Mustaffa) but any staff member we came across was so kind and made us feel at home for the whole trip."
