"Just returned from a three night stay. Found all staff polite, helpful and very welcoming. We could book trips with them and received a map of area. We're also given a name and number to call if we needed assistance whilst out and about. Breakfast was fresh with a good variety. During peek times they did struggle a little to keep topped up. There rooms were good. We had one leak issue due to the weather too which staff were quick to sort out. The hotel is situated in a great location. Best advise, what's out for the mopeds!"

"Well if you are looking for an authentic Marrakesh experience then look no further! This Riad is at the end of a maze of busy streets and I was relieved that someone from the place had come to meet us from their transport. We were very happy to have the courtesy transport which was a perk from Expedia, they kindly picked us up from the station and then returned us to the airport the next day. However, they did try to charge us, despite me having mentioned the deal on several occasions. They made no fuss though when I showed my Expedia receipt. Having spent a night in a different Riad last week this Riad was quite different it was very friendly and clean but it was really tucked away and difficult to find. It was quite lavish in many ways and not really for me, but it felt very authentic! Staff seemed very shy but loveky. The upstairs terrace was a really beautiful place to sit in the evening . Breakfast was the standard omelette and pancakes beautifully presented! "

"Friendly and helpful staff. They will help you with luggage to and from your transport service (car service). Car cannot drive to fromt door but if you call the riad they will help tell driver where to go and meet you to help with luggage to riad. Very safe while close to the outdoor market. And great spa services!"

"Riad Karmela at heart of medina, run by a team full of heart Eager to escape the end of the harsh British winter and keen for some early spring sunshine, we opted to go to Marrakech for a week. We picked this Riad because of its location and aesthetic and it did not disappoint. Situated in the Azbezt area of the medina, it is a few minutes’ walk from all the hustle and bustle of the souks and is excellent for all your needs as a tourist in the city. It is close to most of the main attractions and no more than 10-15 minutes walk from excellent restaurants. We took advantage of the transfers arranged by the hotel which was an excellent idea, as they bring you as close to the hotel as is physically possible. Walking down the narrow street to the fairy lit tunnel entrance, you enter the hotel and find an absolute oasis of peace and quiet. The riad is beautifully decorated in a traditional style, with several small courtyards that guests can rest in and shelter from the sun and the city. The roof of the hotel has many chairs and loungers for people who wish to worship the sun. The rooms were brilliantly furnished, with great facilities. The bed was amazingly comfortable with wonderful pillows we wish we could have kept! The breakfast every day was an excellent buffet, with an enormous range of tasty treats and delights on offer, including a wide range of hot and cold drinks. He went above and beyond to help us settle in, recommending great places to visit, assisting us in finding a hammam, and suggesting excellent restaurants. The breakfast each morning was delicious with a great and fresh, and the property itself is absolutely beautiful—well-maintained, comfortable, and inviting. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and Murad’s hospitality truly made our stay even more special. Highly recommended"
