"Just returned from a three night stay. Found all staff polite, helpful and very welcoming. We could book trips with them and received a map of area. We're also given a name and number to call if we needed assistance whilst out and about. Breakfast was fresh with a good variety. During peek times they did struggle a little to keep topped up. There rooms were good. We had one leak issue due to the weather too which staff were quick to sort out. The hotel is situated in a great location. Best advise, what's out for the mopeds!"

Car cannot drive to fromt door but if you call the riad they will help tell driver where to go and meet you to help with luggage to riad. Very safe while close to the outdoor market. "Riad Karmela at heart of medina, run by a team full of heart Eager to escape the end of the harsh British winter and keen for some early spring sunshine, we opted to go to Marrakech for a week. We picked this Riad because of its location and aesthetic and it did not disappoint. Situated in the Azbezt area of the medina, it is a few minutes’ walk from all the hustle and bustle of the souks and is excellent for all your needs as a tourist in the city. It is close to most of the main attractions and no more than 10-15 minutes walk from excellent restaurants. We took advantage of the transfers arranged by the hotel which was an excellent idea, as they bring you as close to the hotel as is physically possible. Walking down the narrow street to the fairy lit tunnel entrance, you enter the hotel and find an absolute oasis of peace and quiet. The riad is beautifully decorated in a traditional style, with several small courtyards that guests can rest in and shelter from the sun and the city. The roof of the hotel has many chairs and loungers for people who wish to worship the sun. The rooms were brilliantly furnished, with great facilities. The bed was amazingly comfortable with wonderful pillows we wish we could have kept! The breakfast every day was an excellent buffet, with an enormous range of tasty treats and delights on offer, including a wide range of hot and cold drinks. "We had a wonderful stay - From the moment we arrived, Murad at reception made us feel incredibly welcome. He went above and beyond to help us settle in, recommending great places to visit, assisting us in finding a hammam, and suggesting excellent restaurants. The breakfast each morning was delicious with a great and fresh, and the property itself is absolutely beautiful—well-maintained, comfortable, and inviting. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and Murad’s hospitality truly made our stay even more special. Highly recommended"

"The room didn’t seem very clean but it could also be the rustic style of the hotel. We didn’t stay very long so didn’t get to experience the rooftop, spa or breakfast. Location is in the central Medina but makes it hard to enter with luggage as cars can’t reach the riad "
