The staffs were very helpful and friendly. The room is clean. The B1 has some arcade games, food and drink for free that you can enjoy while stay at the hotel. Definitely will comeback.

Good location - 5 minutes walk to the Ximen MRT station, which is one stop away from the Taipei Main Station. Reception area on 2nd floor has a lounge area with games, and free water and snacks – a hostel-like vibe. Helpful 24-hour English-speaking staff at reception desk. Rooms are very small but functional. Walls are thin, and we had noisy neighbors, which was a problem.

Stayed here for a week and overall it was a great hotel in a prime location next to everything including every major rail line. Wifi was fast and the free snacks and breakfast sandwiches were great. Only downside is that you absolutely needed ear plugs to sleep which were not provided. Casual conversations were regularly heard in the hallways and in neighboring rooms.

Staff were very helpful and warm. The room was perfect. It had everything I needed and was a quick 15 min walk to the main station. There was a lot to see and lots of food items in the area. (Have cash or linepay) I would easily stay here again.

Overall the hotel was a great stay for its price. There were free snacks and drinks available 24/7 in the lounge. Staffs were also really nice and welcoming - will always provide our room with extra water knowing that we head out everyday. Laundry didn’t meet our expectation though. They only had one dual wash/dry laundry machine which we had to reserve in advance and the drying part could take up to hours to dry everything.

The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. The hotel provides free water, soda, tea, coffee, snacks, and instant noodles to hotel guests. The rooms are almost 100% soundproof - the noise has to be really loud to hear anything from outside the room.

Love love love this hotel. Second year in a row staying here. I’ve stayed at a few hotels around the island, but still think Roaders may be the best. As a solo traveler, the room was perfect for me. Good bed, accessible plugs, and maybe the best shower on the island. Overall, great value, great location, and great amenities. But the most of all, an excellent staff. Will definitely be staying here again in the future.

I really loved the location and the space. The rooms are adequate and the close proximity to Ximen and Taipei Main MRT stations is absolutely amazing - easy access to most of the city. The only note I’d leave is that the rooms don’t all have safes for keeping valuables (like passports). The staff was kind enough to store things for me at their own locker but I’d have called it 5/5 if the rooms had a locker too.

Loved my stay at Roaders Hotel Zhonghua! Super friendly staff, clean and comfy rooms, and the location is perfect for exploring Taipei. Friendly staff. First time I am in a hotel where the reception is in the basement. And the basement guest area is awesome with free snacks (ramen, egg buns, chips, etc.), games, and armchairs. Lovely staff and fantastic location. Hotel was quiet despite central location. Free snacks and waters were provided. Room was extremely humid and mold was apparent everywhere. Chose to upgrade my room to include bath tub but the humidity in the room afterwards was way too bad so I had to open my front door for an hour to let it out. Room was much smaller than on the photos. Windows (to the bedroom and bathroom) were straight out to a terrace and I didnt know who could see me while bathing/sleeping. Curtains were therefore shut the entire stay, unfortunately…
