Just like the name “Episode”, this hotel is there to create an episode of great memories. Things such as the in-room cd players, free happy hour social and drink session, and the different music you hear in the hallway and the elevator, make this hotel quite unique. In addition, the location is pretty much the best in Taipei hands down. I would recommend this hotel to others and will return again.

Surprising moments with Episode

Only the distance is a bit distant from the underground. Everything is fantastic. I was upgraded to the room with a big tub. The rooms were clean and the afternoon snacking time was perfect to me.

The staff is very friendly and nice. What I like about their hotel Is that they take sustainability very seriously. To add, they have these very funky vibe. Also, there’s happy hour from 5:30pm to 6:30 pm everyday where there’s free flow of beer and wine! Awesome. Gym is 24 hours, if you can’t sleep, do consider working out at the wee hours!

A Pleasing Experience at EPISODE Hotel

This is the first time I’ve stayed at an EPISODE hotel. The entire design is centered around classic Chinese hit music, which really caters to my taste. I enjoyed the retro vibe not only in the check-in area but also in the room. There’s a retro turntable CD player with a classic Chinese CD that you can play in your room, which adds the perfect finishing touch. I really liked the location as well—the hotel is conveniently situated just 3 minutes from the MRT station, making it easy to get to popular attractions in Taipei. The room was clean and comfortable. It was a pleasing experience, and I’ll definitely consider staying at this hotel again next time.

Everything’s great except for the allergies

Vibe at the hotel is wonderful. Enjoyed the 2000s theme so much, snack bar and free HH were great plus. Yet, believe somewhere in the room was not 100% clean. I got serious nose allergy from the first night till the end. My friend got skin allergy and had to visit the doctor during our trip. Bed was super comfy though, was able to sleep through the night despite of the serious nose allergy. Location is great for a girl trip. Loads of decent bars and restaurants nearby.

Stayed here for 13 nights during Xmas and NYE. Loved the convenient location, hotel vibes and the happy hour from 1730 to 1830. Areas the hotel could improve on are perhaps sound proofing. I believe the hotel is pets friendly but there was a night where there was a dog which kept barking that disturbed our sleep. Or they could consider to consolidate guests with pets on a single floor. And also the daily room make up could be improved. There was once my room was made up but I still found hair all over the toilet floor and my used coffee mugs were left unwashed on more than one occasion. But overall, despite all these small flaws, I still loved the hotel and would totally stay here again for my next visit and I would also recommend it to my friends and family.
