  • Last night we went to a Taoist Temple in Taipei. You can see in the close up picture of people praying how they receive and answer immediately from the prayers. After kneeling and bowing, you throw two "stones" onto the floor. They are both crescent shaped with a sun and a moon side. If they end up both on one side, the answer is NO. If they end up both on the other side, the answer is maybe, or not enough information. If the end up like a ying and a yang, then the answer is YES. I took a moment to pray, asked my question and got a ying and a yang out of the throw. The belief is, that the result comes from within your own heart.

We stayed for four days and three nights. Everyone was very polite and greeted us warmly, which left a great impression. I was surprised to find that one of the staff members could speak Japanese. When I got injured, the staff kindly lent me bandages and disinfectant. The dryer next to the washing machine worked pretty well. It was my first trip abroad with my girlfriend, and we had a very pleasant stay. Thank you very much!

The customer service is exceptional! One of the best service I've had with a hotel. Very responsive with messages, personalised, friendly and helpful. Asked for early check in, no problem. I had some personal issues with the room and asked to change after like 5 hours of checking in, they did it without asking questions. I'll be happy to stay there again! 10 stars if I can give it.

I couldn't stay the whole time. There was black mold in the shower and it reeks of water damage. I couldn't sleep with the musty smell. They refused to refund me. The staff we very nice though.

The service was really good, the bed was great, had a great time with my family, however most of the equipment are either too old or couldn't function, that's a bit minus tbh, still recommend to stay there, but they should clean the room more and get the tub fixed.

Business center is large and comfortable. Was of great use for 1am-3am zoom calls back to US office as my roommate was sleeping. Breakfast is okay. The deluxe rooms are large. Staff were helpful. Only issue, which is temporary, is they are demo and renovating entire 4th floor til late Dec2023. First day there was jackhammering that you could hear throughout the hotel and i was trying to sleep late due to my 3am zoom calls. Hotel staff were accomodating and moved me to highest floor and construction noise was much quieter. If they are not doing construction, i’ll stay again.
