Very clean and quiet. The pods were great and actually very spacious, they also blocked light well. Check in and out we're quick and easy and I really appreciated being able to store my luggage before check in time.

No sleep
The bed and room temperature was comfortable however the door opening and closing the entire night kept me up and I got very little sleep. Owners should invest in soft close door and stop the locks from making such a loud sound every time people leave and enter the rooms.

Perfect stay in this hostel! Clean rooms and bathrooms. Beds are very comfy and the largest I had in Australia. This hostel is one of the best I stayed in Australia and I highly recommend!

Thank you for such a great welcome and stay. The pods are private, clean and comfortable. The room was quiet despite being quite large, although our room was only half full. Couldn't hear noise from the street.

I have stay at The Pod many times when I drop by Sydney. The experiences I have had are always good. The staffs are extremely helpful and friendly and were always there if you need anything. The setting of the hostel is perfect and with privacy within your own sleeping area.

This is my second time stay at The Pod. Really great service and cleanliness maintained by the staff. The manager is always keen on offering help during my stay. Would definitely choose the hostel again if I visit.

small number of rooms, just 10 on the 1 floor. good water pressure in the showers. was loud on Saturday night being above a few pubs, it was also Mardi Gras weekend which probably added to the noise. the cleaners did come into the room 3 times whilst we were in the room, without knocking or checking it was okay to come in, that was a bit odd. good location close to shops and Oxford Street for Mardi Gras. can get a bit hot and stuffy and no air conditioning control in the rooms. would stay again, good price

Great location, easy walking distance to Darling Harbour and good transport links. Facilities were great standard for a hostel, cleaned daily, towels and linen provided. Laundry available and good price to use. Only one downside was despite being on 6th floor, could still faintly hear a bar on street level until early hours of first morning (Sunday), possibly wouldn’t have noticed if was sharing a room with others. Overall would definitely stay again.

It was quite hard to find, not directly on Pitt St. It came with a towel and mini shampoo/soap, but no lock for storage. The wifi was horribleeee, slow and kept disconnecting! It didn’t come with a free breakfast, though there was a sharing box and it had spices, cookies, milk. Some music outside, so not the quietest location but not bad. It was very clean and convenient, though more expensive than it was worth. Would stay again but only if I couldn’t find better value (breakfast included for decent price).

This is the best place in Sydney Central if you just want for a short stay. Just 5minz walk from Central Station. The place is clean and neat. Two thumbs up for the helpfull staffs

Very clean, quiet and tidy for a hostel. Centrally located, around 10 min walk from Central station and big shopping centre just across the street (with supermarket and pharmacy etc). Spacious double private room. Only small flaw is that the water in the bathroom can flow into the other cubicles, so it can be a disturbing when others' soapy water flows into my cubicle during the shower. Other than this, it's perfect!

Liked the shared space that still feels very personal and private. Beds are good, lockers are a nice touch to keep common items in close vicinity. Service can be improved, staff was quite cold towards me during my stay throughout the entire duration and hope to see improvements from his feedback.
