Novotel Sydney on Darling Harbour
10/10 Excellent
"Couldn't fault. Breakfasts excellent choice well set out. Great service."
Meriton Suites Kent Street, Sydney
10/10 Excellent
"Everything from start to finish was excellent & so worth it. Location is uber-great & the studio room was perfect for a solo traveler. The indoor pool was heated which was lovely A special thanks goes to Hamish & Nicholas, but all in all, everything was wonderful & as advertised. Pleasantly surprised to find out when checking out that the Meriton chain is Australian owned. Will definitely be back & will highly recommend to family, friends & colleagues."
Mercure Sydney
8/10 Good
"I didn’t like the faceless check in and out by monitors on a desk. Property can do with an uplift re scuff marks, scratches on walls, etc. if you like ‘ impersonal’ its fine. The location is ideal and proximity topublic transport, light rail, etc. cannot be compared."
The Fullerton Hotel Sydney
10/10 Excellent
"Nice stay, excellent location"
Rydges Sydney Airport Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Breakfast was very good and the staff amazing"
ibis Styles Sydney Central
10/10 Excellent
"The Ibis was in a great location. It's a 5 min walk from the Museum railway station. Only 1 stop to Central Railway station from there. Very comfortable bed, Very quiet room. No traffic noise. Dinner was available at the restaurant on the premises. Buffet breakfast was excellent with a variety of foods & beverages. Lovely, helpful desk staff."
Rydges Australia Square
8/10 Good
"Contactless check-in felt cold and unwelcoming. Room was very small for a premier King, but it was very clean, and the bed was super comfortable. Limited space for two large suitcases. Also no welcome drink provided as promised (we're Rydges card members). Tv had no streaming only guest app login only, despite their home page advertising inhouse movies. Not even the maintenance man knew about the latter. Front desk staff were not very friendly or helpful when we approached them about queries. Cocktail bar was closed on Saturday night (we stayed Thurs - Mon). The best thing about the hotel was it's close proximity to all the tourist spots, being walkable distances and close to transport. Our room view was bleak (a building directly across and street below). Maybe show this on the advertised photos? Gym facilities were apparently a shared use of an "Anytime Fitness" gym just around the corner. We never found this gym. Staff didn't ask how our stay was when we checked out, instead just demanded our room number, and that was it. The shower door in our bathroom squeaked every time you opened and closed it. The housekeeping was very good. Overall I was disappointed with this hotel experience. I probably wouldn't stay here in future, despite it's fantastic location."
PARKROYAL Darling Harbour, Sydney
8/10 Good
"Handy location close to China town, and Darling Harbour. Whilst rooms were clean the hallway and areas outside of lifts didn’t look like they had been vacuumed or dusted for a while. Water jugs and water stations are a great idea. Bar area was vey nice and great value happy hour prices. For the amount we paid for this hotel I was somewhat disappointed as it was nothing special. Staff were super friendly and helpful."
YEHS Hotel Sydney Harbour Suites
