"This property is very clean and perfect for a family getaway to the mountains. I give this property 5-Stars because it was tremendous value and met trip needs perfectly. The house is close to Cherokee and to several white-water rafting companies on the Nantahala River. One thing to note: be prepared to be unplugged. I loved it, but it took a minute for my wife and kids to accept that there is no internet or ATT cell service. No emails, no phone calls, no texts. Perfect for me, but maybe not...

"The cabin was clean, well-equipped and homey. Though we did not use the fireplace of pit, a firewood bundle was provided. Read the instructions about navigation directions carefully and print them out. Google maps is useless in this location. It is on a dirt road, wirh which my Mini Cooper had no problem. Super comfortable, like staying at a friends' cabin for a week. Whatch out for poison ivy around the perimeter. Stairs are a bit uneven, so use caution. Could use a few handyman repairs (nail...
