"The room was clean and ready for us on arrival. Could do with some modernisation but everything was in good working order and plenty of amenities for drink making and biscuits provided in room. The pub itself was very cozy and did excellent food. The staff were really attentive and friendly too. Orders for breakfast were taken in the evening and everything was prepared fresh in the morning with hardly any waiting. Great service and would definitely recommend."

"Before we arrived we were asked if it was possible that we could arrive a bit later at 5pm since they were struggling to get back on time to hand us the keys since they live next door, we agreed since you dont want to upset owners that live next door. When they arrived they were very chatty about another business they own and how busy they were. "Really quaint old inn with lots of exposed stone walls & beams. Staff were super friendly & helpful - really warm welcome & nothing was too much trouble. Bed very comfortable & the small double room I had was perfect just for me. Food in the restaurant was delicious & there was a good choice. Breakfast plentiful, well presented & hearty.
