"Stayed here before an early flight home to Belfast. Really impressed. Really good value for money, excellent breakfast, and the guy who checked me in was brilliant. The room was ideal for my needs too. The hotel is also just a couple of minutes walk from the terminal. Will definitely stay here again if I have an early flight from BHX."

"Yes the only criticism was on the 15/4/26 in the restaurant they were pretty busy but the service was very slow which was a shame as it was our 48th wedding anniversary. The food was amazing but only having a main meal and dessert in 2 hours was not really acceptable. "

I wish I had tried the breakfast because I read wonderful reviews but I was pretty jet-lagged after traveling to England from the States so I ended up sleeping in late for the first two days of my visit and then had to grab an early flight to the airport on my last day! : ) "

"Hotels nice, room was so nice and bed was very compfy but the lady who booked me in didnt know what she was doing, she asked me if i wanted a bath with shower or walk in shower, i asked for a walk in shower instead gave me the bath. The room she out us in was 358 far from the esclators next to a fire exit 2 long corridor where the light did not come on for a few seconds in the second corridor, so walking in the dark for a couple steps which is not great for ladies walking back on there own or if they have had a drink. For what i paid i didnt bother complain or ask to be moved as room itself is nice. "

"We've been visiting this place for decades and our most recent visit, since taken over by Sunday, fell short of expectation. Maybe teething or transitional issues but the place has lost its charm. We were surprised to be charged for swimming, £12 pppd, this had always been included previously. We went down to the bar and restaurant for dinner but left within 10 minutes as there was no atmosphere at all, you could hear a pin drop, no music or TV on, no one wanted to speak. We chose a table to sit on and it hadn't been cleaned, can't say the bar staff were run off their feet... The grounds are beautiful and the rooms are always clean, fresh, with everything you need. Now you have to request housekeeping via an App, it will not be done routinely. Obviously these companies want to find every way to increase profit but it might come at detriment to what makes this place lovely. Not sure we'll be back."
