"A warm welcome after a long drive from Jane/Owner. Accommodation was clean and comfortable, the shower was instantly warm! The owners were lovely, very friendly, attentive and accommodating. My daughter and I were going out very early one morning and thought we would miss breakfast so Sean/owner made us bacon sandwiches and put cartons of juice in the fridge to take with us! "The staff were brilliant and made our stay so enjoyable. Food was excellent both for the breakfast and evening meal. Our Room was cleaning and comfortable with a nespresso machine, premium teabags and fresh milk available from a fridge in the landing were welcome additions. The pub felt warm and cosy was festooned with lovely Christmas decorations. "Had a great stay. Couldn’t fault any aspect of our stay. Staff were lovely, very attentive, couldn’t have done anything more! Very good meal in the restaurant, again great service! Tasty breakfast - great again! Stayed in a suite - comfortable bed, slept well. Room a good size. Was very clean. Overall a fantastic experience - can’t wait to return! Room 11, 20 - 21 February."

"We came to visit family who live nearby in the village, so it was very convenient to stay at the Red Lion. The apartment was great, the super-king-sized bed was very comfortable with lovely cotton sheets, and there was a great shower. Staff were very friendly and the apartment block is a short walk from the pub, so it is private and quiet. Would definitely stay again . "

"We had an overnight stay after attending a concert at Ely Cathedral. All I can say is it was a perfect stay in a small but high spec en-suite room with an extremely comfortable double bed, 2 comfortable armchairs and an excellent shower. Everything was spotlessly clean and the breakfast was good, served in a lovely breakfast room. Can’t imagine that anything could be improved!"
