Walkable distance from the shops and Muddy’s playground and cafe is right outside if you can’t be bothered walking. Top tip: great food in muddy’s but be prepared for the wait as it gets very busy. "The retro room was so beautiful, especially as we had an ocean view and could have the windows open to hear the ocean and feel the breeze. We were also treated to the acoustic music rambling up the stairwell into our room from the restaurant below. All in all a romantic stay with wonderful staff, food and a very comfortable bed"

"Great hotel, friendly staff, good range of food for buffet breakfast and plenty of dinner options and drinks. Located close to the city centre and the attractions were all within 30 mins. Taxi to centre and lagoon etc range up to $15 depending on time of day. We would definately stay again."

"Cheap quick and the closest to where I was to find somewhere to have a shower and sleep after 24 hours of driving the room was great when I get back up there again I will be making another booking to stay here again "

"The hotel is in the centre of Cairns explenade. The room is beautiful (level 12) Only the mattress its too soft, if someone has back issue or chronic pain, better let the staff know. For the rest 10/10 ."

"Clean, family-friendly, great pool and spa for big and little kids with a nice table tennis. Beautiful scenic waterview from the balcony of the waterfront esplanade and palm trees. Buffet breakfast was great with variety, very friendly staff, especially Lynn, who always greeted us with a smile each morning. Fantastic stay."

"Great hotel for young families in Cairns. Close enough to talk to town and to Muddy’s playground, right next door to the aquarium. Fantastic pool which my kids loved and so nice to have some activities during the day and night for the kids/family. Food service is a bit slow at the restaurant but otherwise breakfast is great. Will definitely be staying again when we next go to Cairns."
