"My stay at Aqua Lodges at Hurricane Hole Marina was not terrible, but it definitely was not what I expected. The location has potential and the area is nice, however, on the day we were leaving I noticed bed bugs in the room.
After discovering them, I immediately contacted the host. They told me that their inspection did not show any evidence of bed bugs, but I sent them photos as proof and I am still waiting for a response or proper resolution.

"Hi. Love this place. Great location. Shuttle bus to Downtown Key West. So know need to drive. Pool is awesome. They have a good restaurant and happy hour.

"Fabulous property. Plenty around the area to do things. Free shuttle was excellent. Go get some scooters for $45.00 a day and ride around the downtown and surrounding areas. Too much fun! We will be back!"

"Great place and is a great location (if not looking for the crazy part of Key West). Would give this place 5 stars if they kept up with it. Year over year we have stayed here and they are letting some maintenance go. One of the elevators not working was a drag. Lots of bird and iguana poo around the pool. Poolside bathrooms are a little rough.
Was surprised in 4 days no was power washing. Still a great place and will probably stay here again!
Staff is great and housekeeping was fantastic!"

"We truly enjoyed our stay at Heron House. The property was very comfortable, the beds were excellent, and we loved the charming Old Florida atmosphere throughout the property.
