We're huge Novotel fans but this was by far our least favourite stay of many. The building is very dated and old. There is a £4 charge to get to the hotel from the Airport, so you'll be spending £16 extra when travelling as a couple. Reception was standard, nothing special. Would not return to this particular Novotel, I'd rather spend a bit more and get my moneys worth.

The property itself was okay. There were empty alcohol bottles in the hallway and stains on the carpet of my room. The main issue was how rude their airport transfer staff was. I wish I grabbed his name. But an overweight middle aged man literally yelled at me in front of other passengers. I had a freshly purchased coffee and about 5 minutes until the van departure. The drive mentioned I could not bring the coffee along (so I assumed he meant when the vehicle was moving - a high-risk opportunity for spillage). So I stayed on the bus (near the entrance ready to throw away the coffee prior to departure). The drive literally, yelled, "the whole point of saying no coffee was for you to not bring coffee aboard". I was honestly, just embarrassed. To be infantilized by a driver... over coffee.. on a non-moving bus. I mean come on... yes I can follow rules and very willing to. But the lack of regard. Complete disrespect. I personally don't raise my voice at anyone - I think there are proper ways to communicate. Ways that mature adults should be capable of. I know the UK tends to have this 'grumpy' attitude. But my God, treat people with a little dignity / decency/ respect.

Good, clean hotel with good food.
Easy to find. Always places to park but that’s an additional £10. Hotel staff are welcoming and efficient. Hotel and rooms are really clean. Only eaten in the bar area but the menu is good for a bar menu and food is good quality. Breakfast is a buffet but with good quality ingredients and there is a good choice for everyone. Also has a well equipped gym. Have stayed here about 5 times now and can’t fault it.

Hotel is alright, breakfast is great. However, they do not inform their upcoming clients that the shuttle from je airport is NOT free and it does NOT run at night. It is not really an “airport” hotel. Beware…

Good Hotel close to airport
Friendly & helpful staff at reception and on the shuttle service to the airport. Room was a good size well appointed and the bed was comfy. Some noise from planes taking off but not excessive Hotel is close to the airport so a short transfer time.

Very convenient - All staff were lovely
Very convenient. Transfer costs £4 each way. they run every 30 mins. All staff were lovely - reception, restaurant and bar. Good venie for an overnight before/after a flight

Great hotel, comfortable and clean. Breakfast was well worth the money. The only down side was trying to park, car was very full and took a very long time to find a space
