"One of the best hotel experiences I've ever had (and I do stay at 5-star places regularly). Spacious and clean room with great lighting and chairs and windows that open, and hooks, and big bottles of filtered water. Great food. The warmest, most welcoming staff ever, with sharp competent energy all of them, who never looked like they didn't want me to approach but instead were relaxed and made eye contact readily and seemed genuinely pleased to see me. I said once "I want to live here" and she said "we would love to have you" -- untrue I'm sure but SO KIND! Lovely garden, and many places to sit and relax and read and have tea. I genuinely cannot gush enough. Liam helped me hire a driver for a wonderful day out -- he is a treasure. THANK YOU HAYFIELD MANOR. I'll be back someday."

"There are two Maldrons in Cork. I booked the wrong one. Once noticed the front desk staff was so helpful and contacted the other and got us switched seamlessly. I did not have to do any leg work. Both locations were beautiful and in convenient locations."

"Property was well-located and the bathroom was quite nice and spacious. There was a lot of noise from neighbouring rooms and the exterior of the building as there is little soundproofing and the doors do not have soft-close hinges so there was a lot of slamming. If you bring ear plugs, this would be no issue."
