"Great location right in the heart of Cork, easily walkable to all the shops, restaurants, bars. Room was clean, comfortable, and spacious. Bath and mini-kitchen were extremely well-equipped and modern (high-pressure showerhead, nice rosemary-mint bath products stocked, small fridge, oven, dishwasher, cookware and serve ware). "The health club was excellent. Lloyd, the manager, was extremely helpful. I have a rare motor neuron disease that causes difficulty with balance and walking yet Lloyd let me use the gym with no fuss."

"Great location with a wonderful history. It wasn’t really a four star experience: carpets need to be replaced, our toilet didn’t flush properly and shower didn’t drain well. Asked for a new room and was told maintenance would be available in the morning"

"Super clean and aesthetically pleasing hotel! Everything is beautiful and carefully thought out. The room itself is a tad bit small but still works! The AC didn’t go below 18c and barely would blow during the heatwave Ireland was having and the drain in the shower wouldn’t drain so you stood in water. Other than that I would still recommend this hotel!"

"Our room was very quiet and spacious despite having the windows open all night . It was a beautiful room with beautiful bathroom and shower. The free parking is added bonus and the staff was very friendly. I will come back on my next visit Cork ."

"Helpful staff at the front desk. Good to have a community room with kitchen available, stove, kettle, tv, couches, Needs more utensils for eating meals. Helpful to have tea bags, milk, sugar, toiletries etc at the front desk. Very loud banging of doors that Interrupts sleep. Needs silent closures for doors. Needs clothes/ towel hanger in bathroom. Price is too high for very loud noise with doors banging and an interrupted sleep . "

"This was probably my favorite hotel of all the ones we stayed during our tour of Ireland. It was once a hospital and has a lot of neat history. It is located in the Shandon area, very near some beautiful Cathedrals. It is a bit of walk to the actual shopping, but would definitely stay here again. The staff was very nice and accommodating. We stayed in a family room, and it was perfect! King bed in the center, twin beds on each side!"
