"Stay was excellent. Person at check in was a little less than welcoming. She said she had never heard of Expedia VIP perks, and was definitely not interested in finding out anything about it. Rest of the staff couldn’t have been nicer or more accommodating. Property is beautiful, loved the location! Ate lunch in the rooftop restaurant, very good. We have been to Charleston many, many times. This was our 1st stay at The Restoration. We will definitely come back. "

"Upon arrival we were able to check in right away and received a welcome drink. The hotel lobby is beautifully decorated in a moody mid century modern motif. Our room was on floor 2 which our patio opened to the stunning courtyard. The room is well appointed and the high end kitchen was such a useful amenity to have. We also were able to do laundry, which was nice to return home with freshly laundered clothes. The stunning bathroom was large and decorated with gorgeous tile and frameless glass...

"The deluxe suite was much nicer and newer than I expected. A full size kitchen, living room and half bath downstairs. Huge bedroom and bathroom and private patio area upstairs, I was very impressed. Walking distance to many areas in the historic district. Would definitely recommend staying at the Richemont."
