"From when we arrived to when we left, the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. During our stay, there were half term activities for the kids and extra swimming times. We enjoyed the Italian restaurant one evening, but was disappointed the other restaurant was closed. High tea and breakfast in the orchid room was great. Our room was spacious and very comfortable! Will definitely be visiting again. "

Air con didn’t cool the room down very much and although I had a balcony couldn’t leave the door open as room was near the road. Not that you heard it with the door shut. Lovely hotel. "The whole place is exceptional! We have stayed before and as a family it’s one of our happy places. Nothing is too much trouble, the staff are so welcoming and attentive, facilities are spotless and it’s a beautiful setting and interior design. "Brilliant room, fantastically old and quirky building, and wonderful staff. We had an evening meal and was disappointed the restarurant was closed but ate in the bar instead and food was good.
