"Beautiful 18th Century pub in quiet village location. Taken to room, lovely decor, big bed, bathroom was a little tired. Shower had no hot water when I tried at 4.30pm, thankfully had some the following morning. Had a wonderful night sleep, a shame some kind of breakfast is not included in the price. Welcoming staff and lovely locals. Would I stay again, yes. "

Food was very nice, but we were sat at a table that wasn’t the best situated and felt a bit close to others when better tables were available and offered to other guests but not us. "i was under the impression that the property was an old style pub with rooms, when i booked. But it turns out just to be a bed and breakfast. The room was lovely and had everything you need, plus more, like a trouser press, a bottle of filtered water with the coffee and tea facilities, a microwave in the shared lobby and plenty of parking and nice outside space to spend in the sunshine/evening"

"This place was a dump. It smelled if sewage and the owner/manager was rude and arrogant. He sent an invoice for GBP20 for an early check-in, we were there an hour early, he gave us the key and never said a thing; good luck with that !!!. The menu was pathetic. We didn't eat there at all. Horrible experience. The room was very clean as was the bathroom, but the sewage smell was unbearable. Never again, whoever owns this place needs a new manager, if the manager is the owner this place can't...
