Congress Plaza Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"9 out of 10 things are positive about this hotel. Only issue we had was that our room was “lake side” and on both Friday and Saturday night (early morning) there were loud cars on the Michigan Avenue. Hard acceleration and revving engines. Nothing the hotel can do about this, just a heads up if you are a light sleeper that you may be better on the other side of the hotel. Happened around 1am if I had to guess timing. Great other than that though. Would certainly stay there again."

"Our room 2807 was weird shaped but fine. Bed was very comfy but sheets not fine linens as advertised Oddly no dresser drawers at all but we made use of the filing cabinets that were set up as nightstands but it is less then ideal to use a filing cabinet, which is narrow and deep, as a dresser. Shower door wasnt sealed at bottom and water pressure barely adequate. Also. Stingy with towels. Location is great and room service from MJs was shockingly delicious. Location was good for us. Pool. Is unbelievably gorgeous. Gym was nice but not great selection of weights machines. Also elevators were very slow"

"The only thing about this hotel is that is kinda close to the train station so you can hear the train passing by. The staff is very good. The room is also good, no other complaints"
