"Checkin was easy, location was great! The beds were a little firm but comfortable, and the room is also a little small but they have so much beautifully decorated shared hang out space that it didn't really matter. Multiple areas with comfy chairs and couches and everything was really done up for Christmas, we had a really great time. Used the hotel bar a lot for their carefully made and delicious cocktails. "

"Nice place that worked perfectly for the 1 night stay for our family. Modern, clean, bar with food onsite was great for our late arrival. Nice to have the kitchenette and views from the room we chose. Didnt realize it was also a hostel (?) in another area so there were plenty of young people working and hanging out in the bar, but it wasn't in any way negetive. The bartender was friendly and the pizza & wine were very tasty and appreciated after a long day. Would definitely stay again."

"Was fortunate enough to be upgraded to a superior room and we would definitely book it again. The room is cozily furnished, spacious, and had a large bathroom. The bedding is comfortable and the toiletries were from L’Occitane. We enjoyed a view of the town but I think a view of the mountains is also available. Breakfast had great variety and plenty of vegetarian options. The hotel is also located some distance from the main road so it’s more secluded and private. "

"The place was clean and tastefully decorated with thoughtful amenities. We wish we would have booked a longer stay. We were only there overnight and the weather in Vík was horrendous but this apartment made us feel safe and cozy. The only drawback is the weather shakes the windows and is REALLY loud - thankfully we had white noise machines that helped. Oh and getting into the apartment takes some figuring - there’s no pictures or written instructions other than the code so it took us some time to see that you open the door into a hallway and then the interior door has a hidden keypad that is awakened by touch through the tiny cracks along the "
