"Heima Holiday Homes are located just a short drive from town, and offers supreme serenity and great Mountain View. Self-checkin was hassle free. The home was fully furnished and equipped. "Absolutely the best place I’ve ever stayed. The staff went above and beyond on everything — check in, dinner (amazing), breakfast (huge variety all fresh), suggestions and tips for our travel, information about Iceland history, northern lights wake up call, to name a few. "We booked this cabin many months ago, before current construction projects began. Unfortunately, the view now is of a cluster of cabins being built in front of it. It was very disappointing since we booked it based on previous reviews. The view is what you count on when in Iceland, and this cabin no longer offers what we expected. We ended up leaving early and staying elsewhere."
