"The room was always clean and was mighty spacious. I was provided a corner room so I had a great view of East Hollywood! The downstairs restaurant is very servicable and atmospheric and the staff are all so helpful. The only issue is that is twenty to thirty minutes walk to any metro station for the subway, but a bus stop is right outside the hotel to take you to downtown or La Brea, very easily. "We got what we paid for-downtown Gaslamp. We were in walking distance to Petco Park, Little Italy, the waterfront and restaurants. Use the earplugs they provide. The staff was friendly and accommodating. ."

"The staff were not helpful my son arrived 8hrs before I did and I had called to add him to my room was told okay when he tried to check in was not allowed even when he offered his credit card.They did not want to let him check his bags he had to get the manager involved.a hald hr before I arrived they were willing to let him use his credit card by then I had arrive at the airport.it was to little to late."
