"Property was clean. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff were efficient but not necessarily friendly. We would stay here again if in the area."

"Not well kept. Poor signage. No help with luggage. Toilet was so low as a handicapped individual I had to use the shower to urinate and public washroom for the deed. Switched rooms three times. Then stuffed in a room at the very back of hotel. Would definitely not recommend to anyone."

"If you are travelling from Southampton Central Railway station, it is best to take a bus right at the train station and then walk 5 minutes to the hotel. About 10 minutes walk passing thru the park to many eating places."

"It is very convenient, a few minutes walk to the biggest Westquay shopping mall, the gate and the walking street at Southampton. Their breakfast starts at 6am, which is helpful for early leaving tenants."

We didn't use the spa or pool as only there for one night. It was the hottest day of the year and in the parts that were air conditioned it was ok but the actual wedding was outside in the garden and there was no shade for the quests we were all melting and got sun burnt so would advise if its the reason for your visit take hats or umbrella. "Do not stay during the summer since the property as no A/C and gets extremely hot in the summer months. Also communication could be better , we had difficulty finding the location an getting in. The place is really centrally located and overall very nice, if you stay in cooler months"

The lady in charge (lovely lass) managed to get it sorted as the outside temp was up in the 30’s!!! "We had an enjoyable stay at this hotel. The staff made us feel welcome and well looked after. There was a good choice of food for both breakfast and dinner, cooked to a high standard. Our room was spacious and clean, offering plenty of comfort throughout our stay.
