"The location is great - walking distance to surf and restaurants, the space in the room we stayed in was good and had a private balcony and the common areas were generally clean. A couple of strange things - for somewhere that is a "shared house"/hostel type the people who work/"hosts" were very unfriendly, there were 2 females who wouldn't even acknowledge us during our stay (walking into the kitchen and wouldn't even make eye contact or make conversation - mind you I commented on their food...

"Lovely hotel but restaurant was pretty bad and ridiculously overpriced (the hotel is also quite far from the city centre, so you cannot walk to another place/ always need a taxi). Also some of the staff were quite rude - not what I’d expect from a 5-star hotel. Nice for a night or two but wouldn’t spend longer here."
