The sunbeds around the pool were disgusting. The ceiling in the bedroom had patches of mould. The air con turned off after 45 mins and the boiler leaked twice. We also had a problem with ants with no solution offered. "

The location of the apartment is amazing, next to shopping center, sea and transportation to other islands and places of interests. "This hotel is in a good location, but not 5-star and I’m sure there are much cheaper options. To access the gym, breakfast and beach club you have to leave the premises and walk along/across the road. The room size is good , bed very comfortable and staff very well trained. The in room sauna and plunge pool are as described but a bit of a gimmick. The two main issues for us were: 1 - there is no bathroom- the shower and sink are in the room so no privacy; and 2- we specifically requested a room on one of the upper floors but were allocated a room very low down on the second floor which meant there was never any sunlight on the tiny balcony and you were not much above road level and couldn’t leave the balcony door open due to traffic etc"

"Staff were exceptional, lovey warm welcome and helpful with anything we needed, towels provided for the pool and beach that was a bonus. We had a room on the 3rd floor with a small high window with no view but we expected that being in the heart of Silema, room was spacious with everything we needed, air in was good if a wee bit noisy but that may be because we’re not used to sitcom from Scotland! The roof top with pool was a lovely treat, my only disappointment was that the pool bar was not available on the day we used it due to that fact there was a forecast of rain, it didn't rain until after 10pm and there was no other bar service in the hotel to get a wee cocktail to start our holiday. There was a vending machine with water, sodas, snacks and a wine bar across the road, but no external food or drink allowed by the pool. Breakfast had hot and cold options available so good to set you up for the day. Only a 5 minute walk to the Silema ferry’s and promenade and 7 minutes to st Julian’s bay so well located."
