The room was okay, with some of the annoying quirks that come with designer hotels that put optics before practicality. Location quite nice, close to the ferry and bus stops, sea view towards Valetta. A bit noisy though because of traffic directly in front. Breakfast below average for the price point. Not sure if I’d stay here again.

We had a full balcony room facing the harbor. This is an excellent view and location. We used the many restaurants and tour companies nearby. 5 minute walk to the Valletta ferry. The room was clean. The common areas were immaculate. There were USB-A sockets for powering phones without adapters. The refrigerator, coffee maker and kettle were all helpful for making our long stay more comfortable. Full stop: the hotel view and location make it an ideal place to stay. We would absolutely stay here again. However, there were small problems: - our visit in December meant the climate control was in heat mode: we had to show the staff mosquito bites to get the A/C turned on in order to keep the balcony door shut - the bathroom has a translucent wall: turning on the light in the bathroom lights up the rest of the room - the bathroom door has no latch. Not "didn't latch" but does not have a latching mechanism or lock. - there's some sort of sewer gas smell in the bathroom during the day; it seems to not be so bad at night. - the wallpaper was coming away from the wall in one place - there was no folding rack for holding luggage; having one would have been helpful: storage space is limited - no access to a microwave: we had to ask staff to reheat food - lighting was sort of an all-or-nothing: I used a flashlight/torch to make coffee in the morning - the room had no full-length mirror

Das Hotel hat eine hervorragende Lage, mit schönem Blick auf den natürlichen Hafen und auf die Stadt Valletta, insbesondere natürlich von den Balkonen der oberen Stockwerke. In der Umgebung befinden sich mehrere empfehlenswerte Restaurants und Cafés. Zudem kann man dort in mehreren Geschäften einkaufen, die Fußgängerzone ist nah. Ausstattung (Kaffeemaschine mit Tabs/Wasserkocher) und Design der Zimmer haben uns gut gefallen, die Bettenqualität ist hoch, der Service der Zimmerkräfte war sehr gut, ausgezeichnet war die Freundlichkeit und Kundenorientierung der Angestellten im Frühstücksbereich. Autos und Motorräder auf der viel befahrenen Straße zwischen den Hotels in Sliema und dem Meer sind natürlich auch in den oberen Stockwerken zu hören, die Fenster und Balkontüren sind allerdings so schalldicht, dass die Geräusche nicht stören sind. Wir hatten jedenfalls eine Woche lang einen großartigen Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel, das empfehlenswert ist.

Super Lage, um Malta zu erkunden. Die Fähre nach Valetta legt nur 100m weiter an. Im 1. Stock tolles Frühstück und Bar mit offener Front zum Wasser und mit Valetta-Blick. Sehr aufmerksames Personal wie Marleny und Raju. Schwimmbad im 11.OG mit Aussicht auf die Insel! Was will man mehr! Klare Empfehlung.

Lovely clean room, nice bar with a fabulous view. Easy access to ferry, not far from airport. Didn’t eat there. So many options nearby. Fabulous pool overlooking the harbour. Would’ve liked an outdoor lounging area option but saying that, we were out most of the time. Would recommend and would stay again.

Lovely hotel at the quieter end of the promenade. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Within an easy walk of the ferry terminal and restaurants. Would definately recommend Il Galeone for quality food at a reasonable price very close to the hotel.

We stayed at the Lands End Hotel in Malta, trusting Expedia’s good rating and choosing to pay extra for a sea-view room. While the hotel’s location and view were nice, our overall experience was disappointing. Our room was on the 2nd floor directly above the bar and restaurant. It was very noisy—furniture being moved around early in the morning (around 6am) and loud music late into the night, especially when they had a DJ until after 1am on Friday. When we asked to move to a higher floor, the staff said the hotel was fully booked and that we hadn’t paid for a higher floor. I even offered to pay extra, but they said it wasn’t possible. The hotel later apologized and sent us a bottle of prosecco and chocolates, which was a nice gesture but didn’t resolve the issue. They also told us that the noisy restaurant below wasn’t owned by the hotel, which made the situation even more frustrating. Housekeeping was inconsistent—sometimes towels weren’t replaced properly, and we had to ask for hand towels several times. The last problem was with an early taxi we booked through the hotel for our 6am flight. Despite confirming multiple times, the taxi never arrived, and we had to quickly order a Bolt to make our flight. Overall, I wouldn’t rate this hotel as a true 4-star experience. The location and view were good, but the noise, service issues, and lack of accountability made our stay stressful. If you do book here, make sure to request a high-floor room far from the restaurant.

I booked a premium room for 1 night and I was retuning from a week stay in Gozo. The hotel is off the main road and easy to find. The room Overlooked the harbour and valleta offering a good vista. The staff were nice and welcoming , I had left a bag at the ferry harbour cafe and the team offered to ring the cafe to try and locate it. I could not get an early check in but I felt the staff did as much as they could to accommodate me. The room was clean, the bed large, the washing soaps were off a dispenser which I thought was not what I expected for a top hotel. Water came in hotel branded water flasks in the fridge - I liked this avoiding water plastic bottles and as a bonus the water fountain was outside my room. We had booked breakfast on the hotels.com app but on the booking confirmation it stated it was provided at a fee. The hotel clarified this and it was included. There is a coffee machine in the room with illy coffee pods.. . The resturant attached to the hotel is amazing and if I was staying longer I would have balked a table. The breakfast was good with great tasting sausages.. outside the hotel, is busy but the room was very quiet with excellent sound proofing . There are many resturants, cafes nearby to keep you busy and entertained.

This was a beautiful hotel with clean, quiet, spacious rooms. The pool area, with an expansive view of Valetta, is gorgeous, and the hotel is conveniently located near the ferry terminal to Valetta. It's also a reasonably quick cab ride from Mdina and a less-than-30-minute walk to Balluta Bay. I would absolutely stay here again.

The staff were excellent to deal with. They were helpful and super friendly and just lovely. The restaurant had vegan options for breakfast. The room was comfortable and clean, and the view was beautiful. A very pleasant experience. We would go back there.

A lovely small hotel on the strand. Our room had a nice balcony overlooking the bay and Valletta. Room was a good size for two, with a comfortable bed and well-appointed bathroom. Note: there is a window between the shower and room to let in the light, but removes privacy. We were on the second floor and could hear chairs scraping at breakfast because the restaurant is just below - ask for a room on a higher floor. Storage space in the room is adequate, and there is a small mini bar and safe. Staff are helpful and friendly. Lots of restaurants and shopping just steps away. Airport is a short 15 minutes away. We had a great stay! The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. Even though we got in early, they kindly stored our luggage and let us check in a bit ahead of time. The indoor pool and cozy living room were highlights—offering free coffee, soft drinks, beer, wine, and canapés throughout the day, plus a great co-working space. Breakfast was decent, but the lunch menu and cocktail happy hour really stood out. Highly recommend staying here!
