"I loved the property as it was close to the places we needed to go at ucla. It was very clean and modern, and spacious for the price. The free lotions and waters were great as well, and the gym was good too. One thing to improve could be to add a fridge or other kitchen amenities; for example you could replace the safe which no one ever uses with a microwave. I would’ve also appreciated complaint breakfast which is usually standard in hotels. Staff was very friendly and helpful though...

"I liked the room set-up for the most part; however, there was no place to sit and enjoy the food we brought back to the room. The shower handle fell off, I couldn't pump out any conditioner, there was no bar soap. The mirror was chipped on the upper corner, I had to throw away a dead spider lying in the closet, my dad had to kill a live one in the morning after our sleep deprived night, I suppose it is good the sliding door would not open, not to let in any more spiders. "Staff were friendly and attentive and the check in/out was really easy. Parking was safe/gated. Breakfast was either a muffin or packaged oatmeal, but the hotel was walking distance to really good food of all kinds. We walked to and from Universal studios and Xavier even gave us a printed map to walk there from the hotel. There IS a free shuttle for part of the way (the steep part). We would stay here again."

"The lobby was really pretty and the room was updated. The rest of the exterior of the building is really shabby and there was a homeless person living in the parking lot, albeit she was very nice. I understand that improvements are very expensive and they take time but it was quite noticeable that the building needed some love. The to go breakfast provided in the lobby was very nice."
