First of all, I'm not sure whether my review is applicable here, because unexpectedly, I did not stay in the hotel I booked and paid for... On my arrival day, the weather was terrible and I was picked up in a "closed curtain" tuk-tuk (arranged through the hotel) and I had no idea where it took me to. When I arrived, I noticed something wrong, because the door reads "La Niche D'angkor Boutique". Wait a second, ain't I supposed to be taken to La Niche D'angkor Villa instead of Boutique? I was told that the Villa was temporarily closed due to road blockage. While I had doubt but could not verify whether I was told the truth, I do think the hotel should inform their guests about this condition upfront, rather than hiding this and taking their guests to a location where they do not expect. I really had a feeling of being cheated. But, anyway, don't get me wrong, the stay (P.S. in Boutique) was a pleasant one, good location, the room was comfy, despite a bit old and not very clean, the pool was magnificent and the staff were really really helpful.
