"What a hidden gem in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley. This property deserves more than 5 stars. I would give it 10. No big box hotels with the usual. The Mislyn Inn is an incredible find in class, value and amenities from the "Historic Hotels of America." "Very historical feeling, but also very elegant and updated and comfortable. Fantastic bed. Stylish lighting and accessories good. Shower was fancy. Pool was unique with statue and columns. Weight room had free weights. Breakfast was not free, but the town is fantastic for finding food options. Walking shop strip district 2 blocks away very worth a visit. Excellent experience."

"The assistant manager that we talked to a couple of times (and checked us in) was very helpful in offering suggestions on activities/dining. The room was spacious and a good value. Everything was clean. The afternoon tea and cookies was nice. They have a large pool available; however, the advertising stated it was heated, but it felt pretty cold. Overall, good value and would stay again!"
