Please, stop standing there waiting for us as we a struggling to open, hold the door open and get through the door. Helping another customer, I have no problem with you not offering an extra hand. "The staff was great and helpful. The rooms/hotel were clean. The food was reasonable priced and was good. I ate in the speakeasy for dinner and the Circa 31 for breakfast. The only thing that may have been better is no fridge in the room. Also it would have been nice to have streaming on the tv. But being a historic hotel, I get it. Overall, our experience was great!"

"My husband and I stay here every year because I participate in the Luray SwimFest at Lake Arrowhead. Although we don't golf, the course and facilities always seem to be well-used, and guests appear to really enjoy them. "I have never been a fan of bed and breakfast places but this place can make you a believer! Location, location, location; can easily walk to historic district. The best feature of this Inn is the gourmet breakfast; we got a different delicious breakfast every day. This historic house is a well maintained beauty that you’ll love!"

"The staff was nice, the room was disgustingly dirty there were stains on the bed spreads and on the mattress themselves, the sink kept backing up with every use. The walls and baseboards were gross, the tub still had someone else’s hair in it. I definitely would not stay there again and would not recommend anyone else to stay there."

"I spend about 150 nights a year in hotel rooms. Far from the worst I've ever stayed in but a far cry from the 8.8 customer review rating. Property was tired and our room, #108, was even more so. Stains in the bathroom, the carpet was damp, and it looked like somebody spilled a coffee in the heating / air unit, which clearly did not get cleaned up. Common spaces marginally better."
