Well priced tidy little hotel bang in the middle of Shanghai near Nanjing road and the Bund. Definitely worth considering
Hotel staff was very good, but hotel is not for foreigners with minimum standards. Run down room, but major sewage problem in bathrooms.. the smell is unbearable.
The location was excellent, only a minute's walk from the closest subway station. The hotel gave me an umbrella on a rainy day, wake up call when I needed it, ordered a taxi for me. The dining room was pleasant and I had a good Chinese breakfast there every day. The room was clean and everything ...
Clean rooms and bath rooms. accommodating staff, but I hope they could learn how to SPEAK BASIC ENGLISH.
LOw cost option, 10 minute taxi ride from SNIEC. Not all rooms have windows, or at least only into a light well! Ask for a window if you want daylight, Basic amenities. local area vibrant, with restos and coffee shops which is good cos you certainly wont want to stay in your room BE WARNED: The pin ...
Good value for money. No fridge in room. Staff very, very helpful. Great location.
The Jinjiang Inn is reasonably cheap, while giving you decent quality. I would recommend this hotel for short term visits as the lack of a mini fridge can be inconvenient. The bed also isn't particularly comfortable, so it's fine if you're there for a while, but the hard mattress will make longer ...
It is hard to communicate in English. All are oriented to local Chinese people. I think that the hotel staffs were very surprised to see th guest who was not able to speak Chinese. And hard to find restraurant and others around the hotel.
Actually, I was shocked by the fact that they allowed people come in and sent the special service card through the door of each room every other day, especially when the guy was pushing the door open twice to give way for the card to stuff in, that was quite shocking for a woman traveling alone.
