I unfortunately didn’t get to stay for my full booking because of an emergency back home. The pros of this hotel, which is more like a hostel, is the location is really convenient. It’s located in Dongdaemun History & Culture Park area, between two subways stops and down the street from a police station, within walking distance to the DDP and shopping. This would be a great place for a solo traveller who’s on a budget. The rooms are tiny but clean enough, perfect if you’re not going to spend much time in the room. The cons are that it looks nothing like the pictures posted. You have to pay extra for a room with a view, which I did, but the window was over my head so not great for anyone 5 feet or under. I booked this place because it advertised that you could rent a wifi egg but when I arrived and asked, the young man at the front desk told me they didn’t do that anymore. It was even mentioned in my confirmation email that you could rent wifi eggs, that’s definitely something they need to fix. There’s no stairs so if you’re unable to walk stairs or plan on having some heavy luggage, I don’t recommend. The beds are hard but again, if you’re not planning on spending much time in the room, that’s not an issue. Overall, for the price, you get what you pay for. It wasn’t all bad.

For a budget hotel, it is good! They have friendly and helpful staff, who is willing to help you to carry your luggage up and down your room if you request for help. You can put your luggage there before you check in or after you check out. So it's convenient for me to do drop my luggage and do some shopping first before I check in. The room is clean when. Bathroom is clean as well. They do not provide daily housekeeping though, but I'm alright with that as I stay for two days only. The room is small, but for that price, please do not expect a big room. The free breakfast provided is kind of very very simple, so it's better to get your breakfast outside of the hotel. Overall, I like the hotel, and will stay again.

Nothing good expect location and bad experience
1. No house-keeping durng my 4 nights stay even I send an email to the hostel as nobody at front desk alway. This is not match their hostel briefing (mention daily house-keeping) 2. No breakfast provided (also not the fact as mention) 3. I arrived hostel before check-in time so i drop my luggage, and the staff told me that they will put my luggage into my room after cleaning room. When I back, my luggage just put in the middle of corridor of my floor....even not outside of my room. 4. When I arrive room, dust and hairs in the toilet - I think this is the careless mistake that they did not flash then I flash it because i want to use the toilet then I found not toilet paper - this made me feel bad !!! I go to front desk at 2/F(nobody there), my room at 5/F, then I call them to check if the room is finish cleaning or not...I waited a little bit at front desk and i found 2 staff were waiting in my room! Should they wait their guest to check together instead of opening my room without guest is there ? Staff asked me why I flash the toilet and not show them, I said I have to use the toilet, this make me feel bad and sounds like i tell a lie ! 5. Same comment as other guests - insects are found and some smell in the room. 6. There is a door (locked) inside the toilet which strange, toilet is small that door even cannot open completely 7. Only towels are provided, no tissue paper is provided in the living room 8. Slow wifi

You don't even get what you pay for
There really isn't anything good I could say about this hotel. For instance, the room and sheets were not clean on arrival and nothing was ever cleaned or changed during the entire stay. Also, warm water was only available occasionally, the cover of the electrical outlet next to the bed had fallen off and not been fixed, the entire building and neighborhood is rather rundown ... Anyway, I survived, but I cannot recommend this place.

Stayed in a Twin Room for three nights. AC doing fine Smooth wifi Budget stay However, it could improve in the following area:- -provide daily cleaning or at least once another day (no cleaning or making up beds for three nights) -stains are found on walls, ceiling and bed cover sheets -bugs are always found in the room -the bathroom is miserably narrow and small, the WC is with no separation from shower area. -shower gel and shampoo seems never have been used since they are of different volume. -very weird door inside the shower area (water meter room or storage room!?)

Good choice!!
1) It is a budget boutique hotel. Basic room facilities were provided. There are hot/cold water machine to refill drinking water. You can also cook in the pantry. 2) The room is a small but it is clean and new. 3) The location of the hostel is good. In less than 5 minutes walking distance, you may find the nearest subway. (Dongdaemun City and Culture Park, exit 12)There are also many restaurants and shopping malls nearby. 4) There isn't any lift in the hostel but the helpful staffs helped us to carry our luggage to our room. 5) Most of the staffs can speak well English. They are very helpful and friendly too.

Great hostel A+, would highly recommend
We have been backpacking for 3 months and this is the best hostel we have stayed in in Asia... Really great staff who are friendly and knowledgable. Clean, modern rooms with great facilities. Perfect location, we could walk to all the main stuff we wanted to do and then for everything else the closest metro is in a really good position. Overall you couldn't ask for more. Very happy.
