"The room and the location was fabulous! The room was spacious, simple and clean. We were in walking distance to restaurants, bars, port and wine shops and shopping. We were a couple minutes from the bridge between Porto and vila nova de Gaia which we loved walking back n forth. We had endless places to explore. We would stay again in a heartbeat. Thank you for such a lovely room! "

"Our stay was incredible from start to finish. The hotel is beautiful and luxurious, and the staff is kind, attentive, and tremendously helpful. Complimentary breakfast was delicious and made to order every morning. The location is ideal for those looking to be in the heart of it all. Our room was absolutely gorgeous. "Dazzling views and an incredibly comfortable room. Lovely staff, amazing breakfast. Across the river from Porto with a beautiful view of the city. Dinner at the Gastronomic was remarkable and certainly earned their 2 Michelin stars! I wish they had a water bottle refill station in the lobby instead of needing to use single use bottles constantly. The bistro lunch menu has very limited options for vegetarians. "

"It was an amazing hotel, great location along by the river, ideally placed for visiting the Port houses. Staf were great, really friendly and very helpful in dealing with your requests. Car parking was provided and at arrival we handed our car keys over to be parked and at leaving it was brought out to front of hotel for us. All in all excellent cannot fault it at all."

"Great location and all the staff was lovely and helpful. I would recommend apartment B2 as we had a fabulous view over river and breakfast was included which coffee was the star of the show. Down side was glass bathroom but not an issue for a couple but could cause privacy issues within the apartment for some guests. "

"This location cannot be beat! Central to everywhere, and in the middle of everything. Apartment is spacious, clean, and well maintained. Beautiful. Bedroom is in rear and very quiet. Front windows open up to street vista and view of Louis Bridge. Wow. Some amenities lacking or extra charge, but I would definitely stay again and recommend. Staff communication, instructions and response was excellent. This one is a gem. "

"My 21 year old daughter and I stayed at Duas Portas for 2 nights. I cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience here. The property is stylish, clean and so comfortable. "The property makes creative use of its small space in the historic area. We enjoyed our balcony view of the city from our studio. Fresh and new inside with a Roman wall in the back.
