"Hi - This hotel is within walking distance from KL airport. This hotel's rooms are spacious and quiet. This hotel is reasonably priced for anyone needing a sleep- over before boarding another flight. This hotel supplies a very good breakfast, included in the tariff. Bathrooms need attention (grouting mouldy, fixtures in need of repair.) "

"On our second visit, we arrived at around 11am and were told it will be another 3 hours befor our room would be ready, however on second thoughts he discovered that another room was almost ready and asked to be seated for half an hour. I think that was very thoughtful and service oriented. the staff at the hotel are polite and professional. Shuttle service works well. Restaurants are good and quite reasonable priced, specially when there are no restaurants nearby. Great hotel and impressive building. "

"I'm an American so being unfamiliar with Malaysia i didnt quite know what to expect of hotels in Malaysia. I stayed in room 603 from the middle of august to about a week or so ago. From what i saw and experienced, this is the best, cleanest, highest class hotel i have ever been in, in my life. I stayed briefly in other hotels like Cosmo Hotel in KL centre or 5 senses or other 4 or 5 star hotels near Kuala Lumpur. None of them can compare with double tree in shah Alam. All the other hotels had a mold smell or were unlivable (especially cosmo hotel - which was frankly a terrible experience). The Saujana Hotel was the only other hotel that seemed almost on par but still had a mold mildew smell present. However shah alam doubletree by hilton was in comparison extremely clean, zero mold smell or mildew issues, excellent staff service even in AM hours, a luxurious lobby and restaurant, courteous and helpful staff and managers - essentially a 5 star hotel experience straight from top tier professionals likely trained in switzerland , but in Malayasia. The only downside of double tree in shah Alam was the distance from KL proper, but it is still the best hotel in my opinion, in Malaysia around KL"

"I did an early check in because l arrived at the hotel before 12 PM and I had an important meeting at 1 PM. The steam iron and ironing board in the wardrobe were a great relief. Thanks "

"It has an integrated shopping mall connected to the hotel lobby, that provided much convenience to both business trips or leisure hotel residents. "

"My kids loves the pool on 15/F. Having a dinner or snack at the pool side bar is fantastic too. It takes only 5 min walk from hotel to 1 Utama so very convenient for shopping and dining. "

"That staff is ever so helpful and go all the way to assist that we be in the same room for the entire stay after our medical appointment was changed several times "
