"These little apartments are clean, bright and right next to the large citadel. The breakfast delivered every morning was a great variety and nice to enjoy in the privacy of your room. It is very quiet and walkable to everything. Parking is a public spot a few hundred yards away, but is reasonable, just expect to walk down streets with your luggage over rough cobblestone and pavement."

"We stayed 4 nights at VC Heritage Ribeira and I cannot recommend it enough. From the moment we checked in the service was beyond amazing. They even found out it was my birthday during our stay and went out of their way to deliver a bottle of champagne to the room. You cannot beat the location and the cleanliness is a 10/10. "The hotel is difficult to reach from a main road and one must walk up a very steep incline to reach the hotel which is poorly marked. No reception with difficulty in obtaining the entry codes. Then we were place at the very top room which had a very tight winding stairs without a handrail and was extremely difficult to lug a suitcase up. "Beautiful hotel in an excellent location close to the famous bridge, old town and the shopping area - all within walking distance. We had the loft apartment between three of us and it was spacious and clean. The staff were kind and accommodating. We would definitely stay again."

"The hotel was beautifully presented and in an excellent central position for all the sights. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great with lots of choice and we made good use of the bar area. We didn’t eat at the restaurant although the menu looked good. The room was of a good size and had everything you would need. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was spacious with a good range of toiletries. All in all we had a great stay and would highly recommend."

I had to check-out very early in the morning and the hotel staff were so thoughtful with helping me arrange for a taxi to pick me up at a scheduled time and prepare a breakfast box for me to take.
