"Overall we enjoyed the room though it was actually part of an old building, not a true cave experience. The classic room was very small with little room for luggage or seating other than a desk chair and the bed. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom, shielded by a curtain, was fine. There was a complimentary bottle of wine and a tiny fridge that was stocked with items for purchase. There are no windows other than in the door so it was dim lighting and the bedside tables were tiny as befit the room size. We were satisfied with the room overall and we were aware the room would be small. The staff were very friendly and helpful, shoutout to Giuseppe and Miller and the breakfast room staff in particular. The breakfast was the best we had in our 2 week trip, accompanied by a pianist playing soothing music. Paid parking was in an inside private lot far enough from the hotel to necessitate hiring the shuttle service due to all the hills and cobblestone streets, Reserve in advance for a seamless experience but be prepared to wait for the shuttle. Upon our departure we forgot a bag of souvenirs that we left on the table in the room. It was our oversight and too far to return to the hotel when we noticed it. Although the hotel had our contact phone, we never got a message about finding the bag and that was a bit disappointing. We didn't call either as the value wasn't significant. The location of the hotel was excellent. ApeVito tour was great. Highly recommend Corte San Pietro."

"Great location in an historic building. The only issue I had was our room did not really have functional window (there was a window but it was located fifteen feet off the floor. Staff were great and views from common room were fantastic."
