"The room was clean and comfortable overall and the staff members were very friendly. The upper level bar and restaurant were very nice and we liked that there was a coffee counter in the lobby where you could get drinks and pastries. Please be aware before booking that this hotel is a multi-purpose space which has a coworking space and also hosts late night live music/DJ/dancing events. 3 of the 4 nights we stayed, we heard extremely loud music until 5-6am and we could feel the vibration of the bass from our hotel room. This made it extremely difficult to sleep. It seems strange for a hotel to host parties late at night when people are trying to sleep."

"Expedia did not let me know that the hotel was under complete construction. I paid for breakfast prior to coming and not only was there no breakfast but there was no lobby, no bar, no nothing it was a complete construction site. My room has open electrical outlets"

"The hotel is in a lovely position, opposite Vondel Park, is very close to the major museums and close shops and restaurants. The staff are very helpful and the hotel has a very relaxed vibe. I really enjoyed my stay and the room was a sanctuary to come back to after a busy day sightseeing and shopping."

"Hotel is in very poor conditon. Just as othwrs have said it is in a state of total disrepair, was obviously nice once but not at all maintained. Ugly marks everywhere, and questionable stains throughout bathroom and on bedding. Lift was disgustingly dirty and remained so throughout our stay. Had upgraded to a 'large' room before arrivak yet room we were allocated was absolutely tiny. Complained to staff on reception who was indifferent and did nothing. For the money paid, this is the worst hotel i have ever stayed in."
