"Being in Gocek and staying at the D resort was one of the big highlights of my visit to turkey. The breakfast in the morning was phenomenal. "Excellent rooms, impressive facade, grounds, pool and views wonderful. Given this we were surprised at the state of the sunbeds and some of the other furniture, even more so by the unavailability of the Internet anywhere except at reception. It was sometimes hard to escape the incessant music, particularly frustrating when you want to appreciate the wonderful views and the sounds of nature. Some of the staff were excellent, notably in the restaurant, and at reception, but the younger ones in particular seemed to be a lot more interested in their phones and chatting to each other than the clientele."
