"What an amazing finish to our European vacation! This hotel exceeded our expectations. The hotel is in a great location. It is a beautiful boutique hotel. "I stayed at The Hive Hotel for four nights in May 2026. Overall, the hotel itself is fine. The location is convenient, just a short walk from Termini Station, the rooms are modern and clean, and the bed was comfortable. The rooftop terrace is a nice bonus with decent views, and the hotel feels relatively new and well-maintained. Unfortunately, the front desk/reception staff completely ruined the experience. Their attitude was consistently rude and dismissive from the moment I arrived. Check-in was cold and unwelcoming, and whenever I had a question or needed assistance, I was met with eye-rolling and very poor customer service. On one occasion, I was spoken to in a condescending tone that felt completely unnecessary. It genuinely felt like we were bothering them by being guests. The hotel itself is okay and I wouldn’t mind recommending it for the facilities, but the terrible treatment at reception makes me say this clearly: I will never stay here again."
