"Palazzo Gambirasi is an absolute gem in the heart of Centro Storico. I normally go for branded hotels but found this by chance and couldn’t have been happier. Super friendly and helpful staff, amazing location and a wonderful Rome vibe. Just walk out the door and you’re surrounded by restaurants and within easy walking distance to many classic sites. The room was clean and charming with an exposed rustic wood ceiling. I will definitely return."

"The experience we had here was amazing. They were quick to respond if we had any questions and were very kind and helpful. We are allowed to leave our bags while we continued our sightseeing for the day and that was a great perk. The location was excellent to places that you could walk within a mile or two. "While the property was everything as expected, and then some, the staff was amazing and did everything in their power to make us feel not only like welcome guests, but like family. The property is centrally located to a tourist's Rome, right at Piazza Navona, with great restaurants within several blocks. When my travels take me back to Rome, I plan to stay at this property again."

Our room for 3 adults was very clean, comfortable, cool with A/C during record heatwave, and great bathroom & shower space. Many restaurants and shops including markets and laundry service within the block. Walking distance (30 minutes) from Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel & Colosseum. "Amazing location with lots of shopping, restaurants and sites all within walking distance. Room was clean and a good size for our group of two. Bed was incredibly comfortable which is nice after long days of walking. The host was very good with communication and helped us get our luggage up the stairs upon arrival and then again upon departure. Would absolutely stay here again."

"We liked A lot the location - One of the best in Rome, close and walking distance to everything. Our room was large and nice. We liked very much Monica - The Lady that runs the place and goes out of her way to help. The big problem was the fact that the place has no elevator. Monica helped us to bring the luggage up on about 30 steps to our room. We have no idea why Expedia is ignoring this fact and why there is no mention of the elevator absence in the booking process."

"Wonderfully repurposed facilities with rich history in a bustling area right across Pantheon on Piazza Della Rotonda. The rooms were comfortable and clean. There’s plenty of space to put your clothes and luggage. Bathroom is comfortable and very clean. There’s a flight of stairs that you have to carry your luggage to the lobby. there’s an elevator from that floor to all the above floors. Staff was very friendly and they have a porter that will carry your luggage upstairs to the lobby. I would...

"I stayed here with my family (2 adults, 2 kids) and we enjoyed this lovely property. We did not eat at the on site restaurants. Our room was very tidy and the staff was very helpful in orienting us to the city and assisting with transportation needs. Our windows closed securely but the very old door did not have a weather tight seal. Despite that, the room AC worked fine and kept the room at a comfortable temperature.
