A straight shot from the Causeway. The new landscaping was very impressive right down to the sweet honey suckle smell as you register!"

"Our stay at Anchor Inn may have been short, but it was so sweet! The space was absolutely amazing, and we already can’t wait to come back the next time we’re in Sanibel. The owner was incredibly responsive and attentive, and adding an early check-in was seamless and hassle-free. We loved every minute and would definitely recommend it!"

"This is a brand new truly lovely resort. Large rooms with high ceilings, kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. bathroom was spa like and the decorating was beautiful. Located right on the beautiful Gulf of Mexico. "

"This property really had something for everyone. If you like action, they have pickle ball, kayaking, paddle boards for free. If you like to just lounge on the beach, chairs and umbrellas are at your disposal. Poolside bingo every afternoon was a plus for my 11 year-old. He even won himself a free ice cream. The on-site restaurants are excellent, but also close enough to check out the local cuisine off property."

"This was the perfect cottage for my family of 4 to spread out and not be on top of each other like a hotel room. We used the provided bikes every morning. Loved biking. The proximity to the beach with the provided umbrella, chairs, towels and wagon was awesome. Loved our stay!"

"Overall it is a nice place and convenient for local travel. I really think the $40 per person per day resort fee is outrageous. A lot of the place is privately owned or under construction. Your resort fee gets you towels and a chair at the beach, access to a small water park. A shuttle and WiFi. It would be more honest to raise the daily rate and drop the fee. One timer for us and can’t recommend it to others. "

"The location of the cottage was good and there was plenty of room to park a car. Everything (restaurants, shopping, grocery store, ice cream, etc.) was within easy driving distance. There were plenty of extra towels for the beach, beach chairs and bicycles for our use. The beds were comfortable. On the downside, the bedrooms were small. So much so that we couldn't fully open the door without hitting the bed. In addition, in the bedrooms there was no storage (chest of drawers) to put clothing...

"The room and bathroom was clean, I think the rooms were remodeled. Hotel manager and staff were friendly. My biggest complaint is about the water in the shower - it was lukewarm and was told by the manager that they keep the temperature at 145 degrees so guests don't complain it is too hot. You have to stand directly under the shower head for a warm shower! I have never stayed at a hotel with Luke warm water to shower! Didn't like the breakfast choices - no fruit or anything for...

"Hotel is very nice, it was our 3rd time visiting, however, we requested a low floor through Expedia, which they couldn’t accommodate, very disappointing, went several times to move to a lower floor, without success. We had entertainment daily in the past, not this year, very limited. There was extreme banging from construction next door, which all of the guests were upset by, understandably, out of control by the hotel, wish an ordinance would have limited that, with a resort right next door....

"I’m so happy this lovely spot was available. Affordable clean room, friendly staff, and a nice breakfast is just what we needed for an overnight respite. "

"It would have been nice to use the pool however there were people smoking dope and drinking in the pool area along with playing their boomboxes super loud. There was one guy who had a house arrest bracelet on who was sitting in the shallow end of the pool smoking dog with one leg in and house arrest leg out."
