"The hotel has an excellent location, and the staff is always willing to help. Our room was near the back alley, and every couple of days the garbage truck made quite a bit of noise in the mornings. However, if you’re not a light sleeper, it likely won’t be an issue. If you are sensitive to noise, I would recommend requesting a room away from the dumpsters. Other than that, everything should be great."

Handlery Union Square Hotel

"I have stayed at the Handlery before and like the staff and the accommodations. This stay I booked a Premier room and it was more spacious and included bathrobes which was nice. I will definitely book the Premier room when I stay again. Nice heated pool. Location downtown is convenient to all transport. And just a short walk to the Embarcadero"
