"Overall, we had a great stay. The rooms were clean, the hotel was nice, and the location was excellent (just a short walk from Fisherman's Wharf). Parking was convenient, and the front desk staff were incredibly helpful. I forgot my ID, but they were able to accommodate us by adding my husband to the reservation, which I really appreciated. We arrived around 7:00 p.m., and the kids still had time to enjoy the warm pool for about an hour. Breakfast was crowded, but there were plenty of delicious options. The only negative was the bell service. After checking out, we left our bags so we could explore the wharf a little longer. The employee handling luggage was rude to another guest who was simply asking a question. When we returned, our bags were unzipped and left open. The employee said, "I don't know who put them in there or why they're open like that," then dropped our bags on the floor. Nothing appeared to be missing, but the interaction felt careless and unprofessional. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay. If we stay here again, I would skip using the bell service."

"My daughter and I stayed at the Hyatt Regency SOMA for four nights - the hotel is beautiful, tastefully decorated and exceptionally clean. The room was spotless, the staff was friendly and the prompt daily room service was appreciated. We took advantage of the food in the Regency Room - snacks and beverages available all day, breakfast was a plentiful buffet which we enjoyed every morning. The staff behind the desk were always very helpful as we were new to the city - they helped us with taxis and Ubers and were so friendly. I would highly recommend staying at this beautiful property and should I travel to San Francisco again, I will certainly stay there again."

"I could just cry! At first we were like ooooo this is a rough area. We almost cancelled our reservation. But I’m so glad we didn’t! The sunset suite had beautiful views! Nothing weird went on it was actually a pleasant stay. The staff was friendly and welcoming. I’m sure if I had a need they would have made sure I was ok. I definitely had a trip of a lifetime and the hotel contributed to that. Don’t judge a book by its cover because boy we had a TIME! Can’t wait for our next trip out there we will be back! :)"
