"Excellent room, staff was pleasant and accommodating, good location with new sidewalks for walking a dog."

"We had too switch to 5 different rooms they all were nasty we checked in kinda late so we couldn't change hotels the it smells terrible though out the hotel had too purchase cleaning products "

"Airport shuttle was great and the drivers were very kind, accommodating,and efficient. Proximity to the airport is great. Staff was nice and very helpful but the hotel itself is very rundown, I had to switch rooms because my shower did not work, and it wasn't super clean. The breakfast was basically toast and cereal and yogurt. The coffee was not very good. Fortunately, I was only there one night. "

"3 staff members said there be 2 shuttles since we had a party of 12. We paid for the stay and fly. Got to the lobby in the morning and there was only 1 shuttle. The staff member that was working apologized and said they only ever run 1 shuttle and didn’t have any idea why we would have been told different. Hotel is outdated but kind of neat that way. Our room didn’t have a working thermostat so it was cold when we got in and hot the morning we left. Bar in the hotel is cool and great service. "

"First off I want to say that the staff was great, the airport shuttle runs on a pretty clean schedule and there is a very good Thai restaurant here. That however is about all the good things I have to say about the property. It had a pervasive odor of human waste throughout the lobby and hallways. In the room there was quite a lot of poorly repaired damages to the walls. The room rate for the night we needed was low so I guess we got what we paid for. "

"Booked last minute on Expedia due to flight cancellation. When arriving at midnight front desk clerk tells me the power has been disrupted and they could not take Expedia reservations. Told her it was non refundable and all hotels at DTW were sold out. Her attitude was terrible and she was going to kick me out after a long horrible day in the middle of the night. After some begging she gave me a room. For a 2 star hotel they overcharged knowing travelers were desperate. Never again "

"I think they are skimping on the staff. Place could really use updating, or they should price the stay more accordingly. My curtains were falling off the track, carpeting had large nasty stains. The bedside table was propped up by a brochure underneath. I was afraid the shower curtain was going to fall off the wall and the toilet paper holder was falling out of the drywall, dangling by screws. There was some kind of creepy crawly in the bathroom when I returned from an event nearby so I checked...

"I always stay here when I have a quick turn around in the city. Near the airport, clean, comfortable bed, hot water with good water pressure. This time around, the heater didn’t really get hot, but it was warm enough that I didn’t freeze."

"Bldg and surrounding area was clean. Beds comfy , decent breakfast, hot tub, rooms very nice. Nice hot shower with great water pressure. It works for us!"
